2023 NY Political Calendar

Ask everyone you know, and everyone you meet, if they are registered to vote!

Here are points you can use when asking someone to register to vote:

• Local elected officials make policies that impact you directly. Do you want to make sure your roads are plowed in the winter? That the DMV uses the monies it collects effectively? That people can open new businesses easily? Or have a coroner show up in the middle of the night when someone dies?  All of these are the important jobs of elected officials.

• Your vote counts! There are elections won or lost by only one vote. Every vote matters, especially in local elections.

Early Voting

October 28, 2023 - November 5, 2023.

See Ontario County Board of Elections for polling locations and times. You can vote early at any open polling location.

Absentee and Mail In Ballot
Submit your absentee voter application by October 23rd, or visit the Board of Elections at 23 Ontario Street by MONDAY, November 6th.
 

Election Day

Go to your assigned polling place; polls are open 6 AM to 9 PM.

Early Voting
October 28th - November 5th, times vary, three voting locations
